The Tower
Tarot Card Meaning
The sudden collapse, by shock, of false beliefs and structures built on rotten foundations.
Upright Meaning
Divine lightning shattering the ego; a painful but deeply liberating purification.
Shadow: Being crushed beneath what you are trying to keep standing by force.
“Do not resist the collapse; what is false is falling so that unshakable truth can be built in its place.”
Reversed Meaning
Turning a deaf ear to the call to awaken.
Shadow: Walking into it knowingly and prolonging the collapse so the pain grows.
“Do not be afraid; collapse is cleansing, so trust the sun that will rise after the rubble.”
